Letter with foreshadowing

Dear Bill, I am writing home to you to update you on the past 6 months. I would first like to apologize for not writing as often as I should have. I have been so preoccupied lately. I have had some major issues of late cousin. It is of my intent to tell you about all of it but first let me tell you of what has happened these past six months. I have gotten the job at Petco inc. I also got approved for the loan to buy my house. I shall soon be buying a Ford Taurus Sho soon. The major thing I have to tell you cousin, the thing that has been occupying my time so much, is that I have found and captured big foot. Turns out big foot is a he and he was very easy to capture, he also makes a great pet. You will have to come visit sometime cousin, come meet big foot. I just wanted to write and update you on my past six months. I hope you come to visit soon.

Rejection

Someone could feel rejected in many situations that all vary in extent of severity. Some people could simply have been rejected when asking a person out while some could be being rejected for being themselves. In both cases it would be no fun to experience. A specific incident would be if Billy were to ask Susie to be his girlfriend and she were to say no. Depending on how she were to say no Billy could feel anything from just a simple "oh darn" feeling or could feel there is something wrong with him or that people do not like him. Billy would especially feel there was something wrong with him if he were close to Susy and knew that they had fun together all the time, but despite this fact she replies with no.  If somebody were go through the emotional process Billy were to go through they would wonder where they went wrong or if they were too close and try to change themselves. The moral of the story is for Billy to be he is despite social expectations and dictations of who he should be. Theres someone for everyone.

How I would start a ghost story

If I were to write a ghost story, or even a  novel of such caliber as Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, I would start by setting a mood that arose mystery and ambiguity in the reader's minds. My story would consist of darker aspects that were on the cusp of morbidity and would also touch on the fringes of the human imagination. My setting would consist of a darkness that felt perpetual, a stormy night, and a victorian London era home. I would introduce the character's, who would be like Tim Burton characters.

Frankenstein

I believe that the supernatural element in a Gothic piece of literature is the most effective element. I believe that the supernatural aspect of Gothic literature is the most effective because it adds a mysterious feeling to the story. The supernatural world has, and I do believe will always, captivate and entertain the bounds of the human imagination. This captivation and entrapment of the human imagination is the exact reason it is the most effective element for a piece of Gothic literature. In the case of Mary Wollstonecraft-Shelley's Frankenstein, the supernatural idea of a monster pieced together from previously deceased pieces of tissue and then reanimated with electricity is no exception to the boundless wonders of mankind. This monster learns to speak and to read and at one point even plots the murder of Victor Frankenstein's younger brother William. This idea that a man can be made from deceased body parts and be a fully functioning person who thinks and can even have the drive to murder is something that could entice even the least interested reader to think twice before passing up a novel of such caliber. This is why the supernatural world is the most important factor in any piece of Gothic writing.

OGT style essay paragraph

Some say life full of disappointment, I disagree. Life is not only full of disappointment but also full of achievements and dreams. It is these dreams that carry us forward. In my tenth grade year I have had many difficulties, achievements, and aspirations.

What OGT test I am the most worried by

The Ohio Graduation Test that I am the most worried by would be the math. I am most worried about the math test just because I know that on the math ACT there were questions ranging from algebra 2 all the way back to pre-algebra. This worries me because the OGT will more than likely have a question range the same as the ACT and I do not remember much from seventh and eighth grade math. The way that I can prepare myself for the math OGT is by asking Mr. Vasi for practice pre-algebra and algebra questions. The only way to be successful on the Ohio Graduation test is by recognized my trouble areas and correcting the issue. I know that if I receive the assistance of teachers that i request that I can, and will, be successful on the Ohio Graduation Test.
